Neil Robert Hutton was born in Zumbrota Minnesota. Nestled comfortably in the middle of the North American continent, the first time he saw the ocean he was 17 years old.
After completing a Bachelor of Arts in history and religion at St. Olaf College, he has traveled extensively and has lived in India, Singapore, and Kosovo.
From 2012-2014 he completed a Masters of Theological Studies at Boston College with a focus on comparative theology, philosophy, and inter-religious interaction.
He currently resides in Whakatāne New Zealand with his wife Charlotte. During the day Neil can be found at the Department of Conservation office working as a Community Ranger.
